Issue Champion Roles

There are several fundamental roles of Champions (that can be combined across different people as co-champions or can be combined in a single person):

1) Sponsor/Supporter: Usually a co-champion with someone that can provide technical contributions. Responsibilities: Attend the meetings (e.g., virtual meetings) and make verbal contributions.

2) Work Leader: Usually a co-champion with someone that can provide technical contributions. Responsibilities: Lead the work (e.g., Task Force Chair) or help to lead the work (e.g., support for the Subcommittee Chair).

3) Key Contributor: Responsibilities: Attend the meetings (e.g., virtual meetings), make written contributions, and make verbal contributions.

4) Technical Editor:  Responsibilities: Attend the meetings (e.g., virtual meetings) and perform the technical editing and document integration.
