PEG 2009: Rediscovering the Lost Art of Protection Engineering
The Alliance for Telecommunication Industry Solutions (ATIS) announces the Protection Engineers Group’s (PEG) 2009 annual conference. The three day event will be held March 17th -19th, 2009 at the Hilton in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The ATIS PEG 2009 Conference will focus on the basic electrical protection principles as applied to today’s networks, as well as those challenges inherent in tomorrow’s more decentralized networks. Daily themes include: Back to Basics, Back in the Lab, Applications in Today’s Market and Protection Engineering Standards.
Immediately following the presentations on March 19th, ATIS will introduce the first Annual PEG Distinguished Lecturer Series. Carl Lindquist, Vice President of New Product Development, SOC America Inc., will present a lecture on “Understanding Overcurrent Circuit Protectors.” This half-day educational course will be in addition to the main PEG 2009 program and open to all interested individuals.
